CLASSIFICATION: Architectural Vessel MATERIAL: Antiqued Metal HEIGHT: 19.1 Inches ROLE: The Elevator
Most centerpieces commit the cardinal sin of dining: they block the view. A low, sprawling bouquet forces guests to crane their necks to speak to the person opposite them. The Trompette Vase solves this spatial problem through elevation.
Modeled after the grand floral stands of the Gilded Age, this 19-inch metal vessel lifts the botanical display high above the table, clearing the sightlines for conversation while creating a dramatic canopy of blooms overhead.
Finished in a radiant, gently antiqued gold, it possesses the slender, fluted silhouette of a French trumpet. It is not just a container; it is a pedestal that insists your flowers are art, not just clutter.

THE CURATOR'S NOTES
- The Sightline Strategy: In event design, we talk about the "conversation zone." By raising the flowers nearly 20 inches off the surface, this vase ensures that the visual drama happens above eye level, allowing the dinner party to flow unimpeded below.
- Structural Stability: Unlike glass trumpet vases, which are anxiety-inducing and fragile, this piece is crafted from metal. It has the weight to support heavy branches or cascading greens without tipping over at the slightest bump.
- The Gold Standard: The finish is warm and antiqued, avoiding the cheap, mirror-shiny "brass" look of mass-market decor. It feels curated and time-worn.
- Floral Mechanics: This shape demands a specific arrangement. Use trailing ivy, amaranthus, or tall stems like delphinium to exploit the height. Do not put a short, tight posy in this; it will look ridiculous.
