The Ring-Tailed Lemur is a chaotic agent of the animal kingdom—loud, demanding, and impossible to domesticate. This kit allows you to construct the only acceptable version for a civilized home: one made of wool.

This is a project of biological reconstruction. Using the technique of needle felting, you will transform loose fiber into a dense, structural form, capturing the distinct markings and alert posture of Madagascar’s most famous resident.

It features a flexible internal armature, allowing you to curl the signature black-and-white tail with precision. It is an exotic companion that requires no feeding, no cage, and absolutely no discipline.

THE CURATOR'S NOTES

• The Fiber Selection: We utilize Corriedale Wool, a breed prized for its staple length and crimp. It felts down rapidly and smoothly, allowing for a tight, professional finish rather than a fuzzy, undefined blob.

• Structural Engineering: The kit includes a pipe cleaner infrastructure. This is not merely a craft supply; it is the skeleton. It allows the tail to hold a pose against gravity, giving the sculpture a sense of life and movement.

• Optical Precision: We do not use plastic stickers for eyes. The kit provides Preciosa Beads—high-quality Czech glass—to create the lemur’s signature wide-eyed, startled expression.

• The Dimensions: At roughly 4.7 inches tall, it is the perfect scale to sit on a bookshelf or monitor, silently judging your productivity.

• The Inventory: Includes six colors of wool, two felting needles, color pattern, and detailed architectural plans (instructions).
