Real polar bears are apex predators requiring vast territories and a diet of seals. This pair requires only a shelf and occasional admiration.

This kit allows you to construct a study in arctic intimacy: a mother bear and her cub, inseparable and frozen in a moment of quiet connection. Using the medium of needle felting, you will sculpt the dense, white forms that define the species, turning loose wool into a substantial, free-standing sculpture.

It is a celebration of the "White on White" aesthetic—using texture rather than color to define shape. It is the perfect winter companion for the minimalist home, offering all the majesty of the North Pole without the sub-zero temperatures.

THE CURATOR'S NOTES

• The Fiber Quality: We utilize Corriedale Wool, chosen specifically for its ability to felt down into a smooth, dense surface. This ensures your bear looks like a solid sculpture, not a fuzzy cotton ball.
• Optical Detail: The eyes are the window to the soul, even in wool. The kit includes Preciosa Beads (Czech glass) to give the bears a focused, intelligent gaze, rather than the dead stare of a plastic sticker.
• The Scale: At nearly 7 inches in length, this is a significant piece. It commands space on a mantel or holiday table.
• Anatomical Engineering: The challenge here is subtle shaping. You are not just making blobs; you are sculpting the heavy shoulders and the distinctive snout of the bear. It is a lesson in subtractive observation.
