CLASSIFICATION: Archival Giclée on Canvas SUBJECT: Badin Lake, NC (35°27'35"N 80°7'10"W) MATERIAL: 350 GSM Cotton Canvas | Archival Ink ROLE: The Reflective Silence
Silence is a luxury commodity. This canvas captures a specific frequency of quiet found only at the water’s edge.
Depicting the misty, reflective surface of Badin Lake, North Carolina, this work transforms a landscape into a study in autumnal atmosphere. The palette is restrained—subtle russets and greys that absorb the light rather than reflecting it.
It is grounded by the inclusion of its precise geographic coordinates: 35°27'35"N 80°7'10"W. This data point serves as an anchor, reminding the viewer that this ethereal scene is not a fantasy, but a real, documented place in the American South.

THE CURATOR'S NOTES
- Museum Standards: We reject the flimsy. The canvas option is printed on 350 GSM museum-grade material using eco-friendly archival inks. It possesses the heavy, tactile hand of a true textile.
- Structural Integrity: The canvas is hand-stretched over FSC-certified timber. It is shrink-resistant and built to maintain tension for a lifetime.
- The Paper Option: For those who prefer to source their own glazing and frames, we offer a Giclée Poster option. Printed on Ultra Matte 230 GSM photo paper (10 mil thickness), it offers the same visual depth without the wooden chassis.
- Dual-Origin Fabrication: We follow the talent. Most standard sizes are crafted in the USA. However, for large-format engineering (24x48+) or specific Light Oak frames, production is routed through our European atelier.
- The Frame Profile: If you select the framed canvas option, note that it adds a total of 1.5 inches to the dimension depth. It is substantial.
