Fresh cedar is a romantic concept with a tragic shelf life. It looks magnificent for exactly four days, after which it becomes a brittle, brown fire hazard that sheds needles every time a door is opened.

This 6-foot garland provides the lush, heavy aesthetic of the real thing without the biological decay. Using "Real-Touch" technology, the foliage mimics the soft, waxy texture of living cedar. It possesses the correct visual weight—it does not stick out stiffly like a bottle brush; it succumbs to gravity, draping heavily over mantels and banisters just like fresh-cut boughs.

THE CURATOR'S NOTES
